Open to Physicians with the following degrees: M.D., D.O., D.D.S., D.V.M., D.M.D., D.P.M. or others that require substantially similar degree in the medical sciences.
A start date within 90 days of settlement is acceptable with sufficient reserves or existing employment will continue to make the interim payments.
Applicants with new 1099 contracts are acceptable from Hospitals and Medical Institutions (no small private practices) but must have guaranteed minimum hours and Rate in the contract or offer letter.
Additionally, documentation must be provided to show who is responsible for the cost of malpractice insurance. If the borrower is responsible for MP insurance, that figure must be documented and added to liabilities. Income to be discounted by 10% to account for unknown expenses.
The Physician Loan / Doctor Loan program is available in Delaware, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Washington, D.C (Metro Area), and West Virginia.
